Hi there,

I think this is a Pampasatyrus species (similar to ocelloides)??? Any ideas. Found at Laguna Blanca in Dept San Pedro.

I agree w/your call on the genus, but I have no idea of the species. This is a genus I'm not at all familiar with. Hopefully someone will be able to help.

Thank you Kim for your response. I will call this Pampasatyrus cf ocelloides for now :) I did find out that this species has been recorded in eastern Paraguay. The other option was P. periphas which has been recorded from southern parts of the country, but the underside is different, so that species is eliminated. thanks again for your reply
