This is a fairly common butterfly at the moment - in my kitchen ! No less than three of them were there last night. I think it is probably Cissia terrestris, Butler's Ringlet or Terrestris Satyr. Rather a boring colour and not very big at around 56 mm diameter..

I don't think C.terrestris has all that orange on it. I would go with C.pompilia, which can show a lot of orange/gold on the edge of the wings like yours does. BOA shows the range of this species as Mexico to Colombia, but it could easily get into Venezuela. It's a common edge species in Central America and parts of Colombia, much more common in my experience than terrestris.
