Hola Juan: Many thanks for putting this helpful information on the Fourm. Lot of good advice for beginning butterfly photographers as well as the rest of us. Taking several photos with different lighting conditions and angles,if possible, are important for the best reult. Not only results in a better photograph but helpful to those of us that are trying to Id these bugs. It is often a big help to be able to see the ventral as well as the dorsal. Even a little bit of the dorsal often helps. For myself, I have had problems getting very clear pictures. It seems that I need to wear glasses (bi-focals) in the field to help solve this problem. I know I should use a tri-pod, too,on many occasions, but so far I haven't done that. Saludos Ricardo
