Hi All,

Can anyone confirm this species of yellow? My best guess is Eurema phiale.

I think you're probably right. I hate these small yellows, they can be really difficult, at least for me.

Funny how difficult these Euremas can be, even with such a great photo. You could easily be correct. How would you tell it apart from E.phiale? E.albula is common and widespread. Thanks,

This one looks like a "colder" climate form, yellowish. E. albula is usually more round and E. phiale is more elongated. The HW spots are somewhat diferent too.

Great photos! So the first two are male and female E.phiale? Can you please tell me where the photos were taken? And I like the pair of E.albula, those in cop shots are always useful. I see the difference in the elongated vs rounded wings, thanks again for taking the time to explain.

Yes, The first two are E. phiale ssp. majorina male and female. All the pictures where taken in urban parks within São Paulo city. You are welcome.

what confused me was that the ssp majorina isn't on BOA
