Hi All,

I'm stuck on this one. The two offset marks from the postmedian hw band as well as the orange leading edge to the base of the fw seem very distinctive. This was at the Floresta Amazonica Hotel in weedy forest edge.

what about an Ignata? Maybe I.caldas? Or something in that genus?

Ignata brasiliensis looks like a very close contender.

yes, that looks good, even using the dark BOA specimens. Your shot is much nicer!

This is probably an Olynthus sp.

Only Ignata mulsus and elana have tails but this is neither.

Whoops, minor detail about the tails. Thanks for pointing it out, I was too busy looking at the pattern. Unfortunately it doesn't look like any of the BOA Olynthus specimens, but there are several undescribed species.
